The mugs are hilariously clever, yet wonderfully subliminal. Designed by nendo for Starbucks, there is graphic on the base of the mug so that when it’s stored it looks full of one of three classic latte drinks. This is meant to evoke Starbucks ‘fulfilled, and seeing the glass as half-full, never half-empty’ mantra.
Personally I think it would just make me want coffee ALL THE TIME. And I already want coffee most of the time. So that’s pretty impressive!
