My love of transformer furniture is well documented on this blog, but “Land Peel” by Shin Yamashita mixes in another favorite thing; sitting on the floor. I love sitting on the ground indoor and out, and can do it for long periods of time (especially if I have a floor pillow). I spent several years doing my homework on the floor in the dorm hallway, laptop propped on my knees. I really wish I had this clever mat, so that I could have rested the computer on a perfect desk.

It’s also seating for two people with side tables and a lamp. Minimalism at it’s best.
